Straight from the PADI site:

A PADI Jr Open Water Diver between the ages of 10 and 11 years may only dive with a PADI Professional, a certified parent or certified guardian to a maximum depth of 12 metres/40 feet.

Oldtimers? Rechard, you're not THAT old, are you?  Wink

I normally frequent another scubaboard as divingnthedark, I don't do a lot of postings because I don't have a lot of time....The first time I was in Coz I stayed at Galapagos Inn and ended up with salmonella poisoning because I forgot about the don't even run your toothbrush under the water instruction and soaked my regulators in it =(. So after that, all my trips to Coz I stayed at  Fiesta Inn which changed to Costa Club which is now Hotel Cozumel and Resort...I didn't report on the hotel because my focus is always on doing as many quality dives as possible. If you need a reference ask Christi I have spoken to her on the phone and emailed her on another board. I was not able to get in any diving with her because she is so popular that I should have booked well in advance. The travel agent I booked thru had owed me $1000.00 in dives which I had pre-purchased to dive with Blue Bubbles of yesteryear in 1999 so he booked me with xtatabay. Chrisit also was able to put me in touch with Raul Platas who is owner/operator of bottom time divers who I had lost track of and I was able to get a couple of extra dives in with him. My next trip I want to dive with all three. I imagine this is going to take a bit of organization...Loretta Roll Eyes Just wanted to add that I am very worried about the friends I have made in Coz and hope to be able to help out in the aftermath of Wilma...
Wrong on all counts . I am a diver in fact a certified Instructor / NAUI  I post here and several other boards often and with lots of info from diving to you name it including how to get this or that to work in your Mexican Home. Your post seemed very suspect ,. . .and was at a time when we have seen numerous post just like yours . Note. . . .  that a board memeber did trace a Travel Agent doing just as you did and he posted said agents Name and e-mail addresses  that poster never returned it was a scam /spam . YOu never posted here before and only twice since very long ad for a little known shop and then. . . . .. .? I call-em as I see-em and I still think I saw this one  just right .
