Ok - I need to know if there is an age requirement and/ or a credit card is needed to rent a scooter. Not that I want to rent one - but I am bringing the whole family in August and my son - he's 18 and daughter 22 - want to rent scooters - I have said NOT ON MY DIME YA DON'T !!!! But since they both work and don't live with me they pulled the adult card - ya like what ever ! But if they have to be a certain age - and/or need a credit card to rent - I am safe and don't have to get all ugly and pull the I'M YOUR MOTHER no matter what friggin' age you are card !

Thanks Rechard - I think my girl is a bit more logical than he is so I feel confident that she will find better things to spend her money on while we are there - and for him that just saves me the headache of hearing him beg me while we are there ! Plus we are only there for 3 days and plan to keep them as busy as possible - they will hate not sleeping til noon - but that way - they will be too tied to put up much of a fuss ! haha !

BTW the Lad is not allowed (Insurance wise) to drive any rental vehicle anywhere in the known world hahahahaha  Roll Eyes
If he does and he has an accident ? You and he will very possibly be sitting and Sh itting in your pantaloons for a long while while the hubby decides if its cheaper to replace ya both when he gets home hahahahaha

Heck - even I won't drive in Mexico ! People are crazy there !!!! I appreciate that my hubby takes the wheel and handles it all while we are on vacation.

PS...he wouldn't replace me - I have put him into too much debt - he wants my added income to try to get him out of it !!!!! haha !!!

SHOES !!!! I knew I liked something about you Rechard ! I had my husband build me a shoe closet when we moved to this house - I have shelving fro approx. 150 pairs of shoes - but I do have to do the switch and store between summer and winter ones - addiction - I'm afraid so.

My husband spends his fair share on music and equipment !

Yeah, it's my plan to keep them too busy - but sometimes what I plan is not what the younger generation wants to do ! But if we are the only ones with a car - their choices are limited. We do have the quick in and out plan done - unfortunetly in 3 days I can't possibly show them all that I love about Cozumel - but thats what a second trip will be about - next time they can save for it !

Shoes,Yeah I usually have a few pairs that I end up not even wearing on vacation. I think I may have learned by now though that flip flops on Coz can be dressed up or down and they are light !!!! My flip flop selection has grown like a rainbow !
